Tare “T” Davis is a 1992 graduate of Weldon High School in Weldon, NC. Prior to his graduation, in 1991, he joined the Army National Guard at 17 years of age and served our country in this capacity until 2003. While in the National Guard, he rose to the rank of Sergeant.

 

Davis has served over 27 years in law enforcement and is currently a State Trooper with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. He holds college degrees in Criminal Justice, International and Comparative Criminal Justice, and Business Organization.

 

A Warren County Commissioner since 2014, Davis served as Chairman of the Board from 2018-2022. Currently, he serves as the President-Elect of the NC Association of County Commissioners.
